Her novels, including Breath, Eyes, Memory; The Farming of Bones; and The Dew Breaker, are praised as much for their cultural specificity as for their poetic universality. In the novel, The Farming of Bones by Edwidge Danticat, I learned many new things about journey and discovery and even the variations of how justice might be served. But they also aren't completely lacking in a farming pedigree.
